Blake Shelton Will Host First Troy Gentry Foundation Benefit Concert

The world of country music is coming together to honor the late Troy Gentry with a benefit concert at the Grand Ole Opry January 9, 2019. The event is called C’Ya on the Flipside. Funds raised will be used to support the goals of the Troy Gentry Foundation; providing financial support to organizations that aid in cancer research, assist military families and families in need, and help provide music education to future generations.personal.

There will be multiple beneficiaries of the event including Opry Trust Fund, T. J. Martell Foundation, Make-A-Wish, The Journey Home project as well as scholarships and instruments for music education in Kentucky schools.

C’Ya on the Flipside Event will be hosted by Blake Shelton and Storme Warren of SiriusXM’s The Highway, Montgomery Gentry one half of the duo, Eddie Montgomery, along with Jimmie Allen, Halfway to Hazard, Chris Janson, Dustin Lynch, Justin Moore, Craig Morgan, Jon Pardi, Rascal Flatts, Jeffrey Steele, and Neil Thrasher.

The Troy Gentry Foundation states on its website their mission, “Love God, Love others. The goals of the foundation are providing financial support to organizations that aid in cancer research, assist military families and families in need, and help provide music education to future generations.”
