Blackman continued its 2017 domination with a 35-3 win at Siegel on Friday.
Playing without star running back Master Teague, the Blaze rolled up 392 yards rushing anyway, and held Siegel star Lelan Wilhoite to only 48 yards on 13 carries.
Cordel Braxton had 13 carries for 139 yards and a score, and quarterback Conner Mitchell ran 12 times for 64 yards and scored twice.
Mitchell also completed 10-of-16 throws for 146 yards and a pair of scores.
Braxton dashed 86 yards 2:39 into the second quarter as the Blaze led 7-0.
Siegel finally got on the scoreboard in the third quarter when Conner Ott’s field goal cut the lead to 14-3.
Teague was held out of the game with a sprained ankle. It’s not expected to be serious.
Wilhoite also caught six passes for 43 yards.
