MTCS Looks To Make History On Thursday
It’s been a year of firsts for the MTCS basketball team: First Region Championship, First District, First trip to State. The 21-9 MTCS Cougars look to continue their improbable run as they take on #4 Mitchell, Thursday morning at 10:00 a.m.
It’s been a tough road to get here as MTCS upset #7 Huntland and #13 Columbia Academy to get here. Neither of those games were close. Nashville Christian was their only close game in District which they won 70-66.
Mitchell is ranked #4 and is 30-7. The Tigers from Memphis have pretty much eaten everyone in their path at District , beating all 3 opponents by a total of 51 points.
