Monday’s baseball schedule involving Rutherford County teams was washed away by rain in the area.
There were several games from Saturday involving area teams.
LaVergne picked up just its fifth win of the season, edging Columbia 7-5. The Wolverines are now 5-12 on the year.
In other action, the Riverdale Warriors fell to Brentwood High, 10-6. Riverdale is now 14-9-2 on the year.
Blackman edged Lawrence County, 4-2, as the Blaze improved to 17-7 this season.
Central Magnet topped Knoxville Bearden, 5-4, as the Tigers are now 16-8 for the year.
