Blackman routed Riverdale, 11-1, Tuesday in high school baseball action and in the process clinched the District 7-AAA regular season title an the top seed in the tournament that goes with it.
In other baseball action from Tuesday, Siegel rolled past LaVergne, 8-2, as Drew Benefield hit a three-run homer and pitcher Zac Pearson struck out nine Wolverines. The Stars are now 15-12 overall.
Oakland shut out Smyrna, 9-0, as the Patriots pushed their record to 11-15.
Stewarts Creek downed Centennial, 6-3, as Daniel Freeman drove in three runs for the Red Hawks.
Middle Tennessee Christian ripped Community, 10-3, as Jared Keiser and Ben Durham had two hits apiece.
Eagleville had an easy time with Moore County, posting a 10-2 victory.
