Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar is bringing their signature “Bad Ass Burger” to Murfreesboro, opening at 2243 Medical Center Pkwy, Suite B, the last week of August.

What makes Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar different from all the other burger joints in town is their Bad Ass Burger and their Bacon Cheeseburger on Steroids. These are colossal culinary masterpieces on a bun.

Bad Daddy’s is most famous for their out-of-this-world burgers, but their non-burger options are just as badass. The menu features delicious appetizers, salads, sandwiches, and milkshakes made from small-batch, house-made ice cream.

“Murfreesboro was a great choice and natural fit for us given the strong southern sense of community,” says Boyd Hoback, Bad Daddy’s CEO. “Bad Daddy’s is the place you hang with friends after a long work week to kick back over a cold beer or where you bring out-of-town visitors to knock their socks off with an over-the-top, totally insane dining experience.”

All About the Burgers

Their signature “Bad Ass Burger” features a ten-ounce beef patty with melted American cheese that is made in-house and buttermilk fried bacon, served with horseradish mayo, lettuce, tomato & pickles.

The “Bacon Cheeseburger on Steroids” is topped with three pieces of jalapeño bacon and three pieces of Applewood smoked bacon, as well as their in house-made bacon mayo, then topped off with shredded iceberg lettuce, tomato, red onion, and pickles.

Other burgers include the “Sam I Am,” which features an over-easy fried egg, rosemary ham, American cheese, and fresh made pesto; and the “Smokehouse,” which contains an Angus beef patty topped with pulled pork, pepper jack cheese, onion straws, lettuce, tomato and their own special apple-bacon BBQ sauce.

In all there are twelve featured burgers, as well as the ability to create your own from a long, long list offering multiple options for patty, bread, cheese, condiments, and toppings. Just the “bread” choices alone offer a Brioche bun, multigrain bun, lettuce wrap, Texas toast, rye bread, a gluten-free bun, or no bun at all.

Those who don’t want a hamburger can choose a buttermilk fried chicken breast, grilled chicken breast, turkey burger, black bean burger, buffalo burger, or tuna burger.
Each burger comes with the addition of one side French fries, sweet potato fries, tater tots, potato chips, coleslaw, or fruit.

Beyond Burgers

Local management suggests that you can start off your meal with “Not Your Mama’s Deviled Eggs.” This appetizer is made up of five lightly fried deviled eggs with a spicy filling, crumbled bacon, and garnished with a fresh jalapeno. Try their own version of Potato Chips served with your choice of creamy French onion dip or tangy pimento cheese. Other starters include nachos, sliders, chili, queso, and onion rings – each made with Bad Daddy’s own twist.

For non-burger lovers, Emilio’s Chicken Sandwich, the Cantina Black Bean Burger, and the Texican Chicken Salad are always crowd favorites. And if none of the salad choices are pleasing, then Bad Daddy’s offers the option to once again create your own.

Top off your meal with one of their signature milkshakes. What sets their shakes apart from the rest is that they’re made with small-batch ice cream that’s made in-house. Each shake is handspun with fresh milk, then finished off with a choice of syrups, fruits, or crunchy toppings. One of their most popular shakes, is the BD Snickered. It is made from vanilla ice cream blended with rich Ghirardelli® chocolate, crunchy peanuts, and caramel syrup.

Bad Daddy’s has a full bar, complete with a variety of beers, including local and craft beers, and signature cocktails. Their Bad Ass Rocks Margarita features fresh lime and mucho tequila.

A Little Bit About the Company

In 2007, the first Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar opened on East Boulevard in Charlotte, North Carolina. It was an immediate success. Now, in 2019, there are 35 locations throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, Oklahoma, Georgia, Tennessee and Colorado.

Bad Daddy’s has been steadily building its reputation as a unique player in the burger world. Their philosophy is to prepare simple foods–such as the quintessential American dish, the hamburger–with culinary passion. Plans for continued growth promise more locations in the future.

Opening Soon

They are currently scheduled to open the last week of August in Murfreesboro at 2243 Medical Center Pkwy, Suite B.

“We’ve seen success and continued growth with our Chattanooga location,” said Hoback, “so we’re excited to continue to spread our roots in the state and bring the baddest burgers around to many more Tennesseans.”
