Attempted Armed Robbery At Murfreesboro Business

Description Of Offense : Armed Robbery

On 1/22/2018 at 2050 hours Officer A responded to 2365 Memorial Boulevard (Papa John’s) in reference to an attempted armed robbery.

Upon arrival the officer made contact with the victim. The victim stated that he had walked outside to the rear parking lot of the store to get an item out of a friend’s car. He observed two younger white male subjects in the parking lot and continued walking to the car.

Upon exiting the vehicle to return to the store, the two white males confronted him and pointed a black handgun at him demanding all of his “stuff.” Both suspects were white males, 16 to 18 years old, one wearing a blue jacket with the hood pulled up, the other with a gray hoodie and both were wearing jeans.

The victim raised his voice to the suspects and attempted to punch one of them. Both suspects then left the scene on foot towards Irongate Boulevard.

The victim stated the suspect with the black jacked possessed the handgun. The victim also stated that one of the suspects could possibly be a [ NAME OMITTED ] from Oakland High School. A detective was notified of the incident.
