Weeks after its broadcast, you can now own the all new holiday movie- ‘Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love’ which releases on DVD on Dec. 20.
‘Christmas of Many Colors’ is the sequel to the Dolly Parton’s ‘Coat of Many Colors’ which won numerous awards including the Epiphany Prize for Inspiring Television from The Movieguide Awards.
The made-for-TV movie is based on the true story of Dolly Parton’s upbringing in East Tennessee. The story depicts a young Dolly Parton as she and her family experience a Christmas miracle. An unexpected blizzard threatens the Parton family while Dolly’s father takes a job out of town to raise enough money to finally buy his wife the wedding ring he could never afford. In continuation of the story of Dolly Parton, you will see an important person take notice of Dolly’s amazing voice and musical talent.
The family-oriented movie also features a special appearance by Dolly Parton as “The Painted Lady,” the one to whom she credits her look.
Cast members for the ‘Christmas of Many Colors’ include Jennifer Nettles, Ricky Schroder, Alyvia Alyn Lind, Kelli Berglund, Mary Lane Haskell, Cameron Jones, Stella Parton, Hannah Norberg, Farrah MacKenzie, Parker Sack, Forrest Deal, Dylan Michael Rowen, Blane Crockarell, and Gerald McRaney.
In addition to playing the part of “The Painted Lady,” Parton also introduces the film and serves as narrator.
