Apple TV Now Available on the Roku Platform

Roku announces the Apple TV app is available as a channel on the Roku platform! The new channel brings together a number of different ways to discover and watch movies, TV shows, and more, and for the first time ever, gives you access to your iTunes video library on the Roku platform.

And on November 1, Apple TV+, Apple’s home for all-original shows and movies from the world’s greatest storytellers, will arrive on the new Apple channel on Roku devices.

Enjoy personalized recommendations of shows and movies and discover over 100,000 movies and TV shows within the Apple TV app. The Watch Now section features Up Next, where you can pick up where you left off and stream your favorites with watching history synced across devices, as well as explore curated collections based on your personalized viewing interests. The Apple TV app also includes a dedicated Kids section, with handpicked shows and movies for kids of all ages. You can also subscribe to and watch popular services like HBO, STARZ, SHOWTIME and more, using just your Apple ID and password.

Starting November 1, Apple TV+ will be available within the new Apple channel on your Roku devices. Apple TV+ will feature exclusive original shows, movies, and documentaries from celebrated artists like Oprah Winfrey, Steven Spielberg, Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, Octavia Spencer, J.J. Abrams, Jason Momoa, M. Night Shyamalan, Jon M. Chu and more. You can subscribe to Apple TV+ right in the channel on your Roku devices for $4.99 per month with a seven-day free trial.
