5 Williamson Co Fair Attractions You Don’t Want to Miss

The Williamson County Fair kicks off Aug 4th and runs through the 12th at the Ag Expo Center, 4215 Long Ln # 100, Franklin, TN 37064.

Admission to the fair:

Adults: $7 at the gate.
Children ages 6 – 12: $4 at the gate.
Children ages 5 and under are free.

High Dive Show

Big splashes in a small pool! In addition to comedy dives, this show features Olympic style dives, a high dive and a fire dive. Engaging for the whole family!

You can see the high dive show at the following times:

Aug 4 at 2:30pm
Aug 5-6 at 2:30pm, 4:30pm, 6:30pm & 8:30pm
Aug 7-11 at 6:30pm & 8:30pm
Aug 12 at 2:30pm, 4:30pm, 6:30pm & 8:30pm

Fireworks

Celebrate your fun filled day with a spectacular fireworks display on Friday and Saturday nights.

Fireworks display will occur at the following date and times:

Aug 4-5 at 10pm
Aug 11-12 at 10pm

Wild Science

 

Have fun in the wild world of science through numerous highly interactive and visually captivating displays and activities. The STEM-based Wild Science attraction is fun for all ages. A hands-on interactive display, you can see how sharp your senses are with the Common Scents display. Check out your sense of balance on the Balance Beam, which is essentially a surfboard without the water. What about your dexterity? Find out as you attempt to move a ring along a complicated path without sounding the buzzer. Can you tap out a tune on the Temple Blocks? Get hands-on with the What Did You Make? area where you can build whatever you can imagine using giant foam blocks or magnetos. Get creative with the Etch Panel, using a sheet of paper and crayons. And, test your arm and throwing speed in the Velocity Tunnel.

Everyone will have fun in the Jumbo Bubble Making arena, where you might even trap a friend or sibling inside a bubble. Expand your brain with a collection of puzzles and brainteasers. Do you know how to remove the large metal ring from the horseshoes? Or, try your critical thinking skills with a giant Chess. Grab friends or family and enjoy exploring the amazing world of science!

The Tangled Threads

The Tangled Threads are The Jarquin and Jen Forti, a multi-talented duo from Portland, Oregon. They combine their visions to create new acts to delight and amaze audiences everywhere through an ever-evolving repertoire that includes music, dance, stiltwalking, juggling, clowning, Heely skating, and much more!

Like minstrels of old, the Troubadours roam the land singing for their supper. With a repertoire that includes classic hits, children’s tunes, and an eclectic selection of comic, new and slightly bizarre songs, they appeal to all ages. A visual threat and a delight to the ear, this pair of globe trotters bring smiles to audiences everywhere!

The Midway

The Midway offers over 30 rides, including The Clown House, Circus Train, Cyclops, Tilt-a-Wheel, Super Slide, Scooter Bumper Cars to name a few, plus three new rides, including The Surfer, Dalmatians and Log Swings.

Mon-Thurs 6pm-11pm
Fri 6pm-midnight
Sat 10am-midnight
Sun 12pm-11pm

Midway Admission

Ride All Day on Saturdays from 10am to midnight for $35

Unlimited Rides on Saturdays between 10am-4pm just $25.

Unlimited Rides Mon-Thurs are $20
