WHAT: Jordan Carter was honored with an unprecedented 13 music industry awards including Top Male Entertainer and Top Male Vocalist from the North American Country Music Association. He has been compared to the legendary Johnny Cash by newspapers, his voice has also been compared to Josh Turner, and Chris LeDoux.

Jordan has opened up for Jamie O’Neal, Confederate Railroad, Billy Joe Shaver, Marty Stuart and Mark Wills, to name just a few.

3. Smyrna Public Library Annual Scholastic l/2 Price Sale

WHAT: The 2019 Smyrna Public Library’s Annual Scholastic l/2 Price Book Fair will be held from Monday, December 2, 2019 through Tuesday, December 10, 2019 in the Program Room in the Youth Services Department. Great time to shop to get some great bargains for those on your Christmas list! This is a true half off sale where everything is half off. Books, erasers, bookmarks, kits, posters, etc.

WHEN: Book Fair hours are 9am to 6pm Monday through Thursday, Friday and Saturday hours are 9am to 4:30pm, not open on Sunday.

4. Hepburn the Downtown Doggie

WHAT: Hepburn is the cutest, friendliest, four-legged guy in Nashville. He lives with Miss Amanda and they love to visit local schools to read to children and promote literacy. Come meet Hepburn and Miss Amanda to see how they conquered not fitting in and his journey to becoming the Downtown Doggie.
