Southbranch Nursery
Dan Higbee started Southbranch Nursery as a spinoff of his company Quality Land Management. He started Quality with one hundred and fifty dollars and a used Snapper leaf blower in 1992, Southbranch began from a pile of mulch and a few pots of mums a year later. They now service both residential and commercial properties all over Middle Tennessee, as well as run two nurseries. One is located off Church Street in Murfreesboro. They offer hundreds of plants, pots, garden décor, mulch, and now indoor plants.

Valley Growers
Two locations make Valley Growers accessible to residents all over Murfreesboro. One is located north of town on Lascassas Highway at Compton Road, and the other can be found south of town at the Rutherford County Co-Op. Valley Growers began in Lascassas in 2000, moving to their new main location in 2013. They offer a large assortment of yard art, pots, flowers, bushes, and trees.
