Now is the time to get your plantings in for the summer. The grass has already been mowed several times. Rose bushes are blooming into riots of pink, cream, yellow, purple, and every shade of red. Flowers are showing their colors, bursting into blossoms of yellow, purple, blue, white, and pink. Bushes are reaching for the sky. Trees are exploding into canopies of green. And fresh lettuces are producing enough to keep a healthy salad on the table every evening.
If your outdoor living space isn’t producing spring’s delights yet, these four local garden stores are bursting with everything you need to get your garden started.
Don’t have a big yard? Not a problem. They carry pots of every size and color to build your container garden.
Love your yard art? From colorful frogs to puckish winged picks, there are plenty of delightful creations to decorate your outdoor space.
Be sure not to forget the water feature. These stores have fountains that you just plug in and fill with water, then they do the rest. Or if you are the do-it-yourself type, they have everything you need to build a pond or dry creek bed in your yard.
