As dog owners, we love to spoil our pets and what better way to show your love than a treat? During these hot August days, your pup will love a nice, frozen treat. These puppy popsicle recipes by Three Dog Bakery are a great way to treat your dog and help them cool off. You and your pup will love these popsicles because they are healthy, safe and a snap to put together.

All of these options can be put in a typical popsicle mold like you’d use for people treats or you can use an ice cube tray or silicone mold (like this one on Amazon). The freezing times will change depending on the mold you use, but it might take approximately 2 hours for a smaller mold. If you’d like a popsicle “stick” you can use things like a bully stick, carrot, or dog biscuit to extend the fun!

Chicken Dinner
1 cup chicken bone broth or low-sodium chicken stock
1/2 cup water
1.5 oz chopped, cooked chicken

Combine all ingredients, divide into popsicle or ice cube trays and freeze.

Maple Bacon
1 cup unsweetened plain Greek yogurt
1/3 cup water
3 T real maple syrup
1 T Peanut Butter (preferably a kind with no added sweetener or sugar)
3 oz chopped bacon

Combine yogurt, water, maple syrup and peanut butter. Mix together with a whisk or fork to combine completely. Stir in bacon. Divide mixture into popsicle or ice cube trays and freeze.

Superfood Mix
1 cup Goat’s Milk (we recommend Primal Petfoods Raw Goat’s milk or Honest Kitchen Powdered Goat’s Milk)
1/4 cup mashed blueberries
1 tsp turmeric

Combine all ingredients, divide into popsicle or ice cube trays and freeze.
