10 Places with the Deepest Discounts on Black Friday

As the ads for Black Friday sales are bombarding consumers, it’s often hard to tell what’s really a deal.

At Wallet Hub, they completed a survey  of 7,000 deals from 35 of the biggest U.S. retailers’ 2018 Black Friday ad scans to identify the stores offering the biggest discounts in various product categories such as “Appliances,” “Jewelry” and “Toys.” Below is the list of top ten retailers that offer the best deals on Black Friday.  Topping the list is Belk with an average discount of 68 percent followed by JCPenney.

If you are looking to purchase video games this Black Friday, Wallet Hub reports that Best Buy offers the largest average discount at 47 percent followed by Walmart at 46 percent and right behind is Target at 45 percent.

Interesting fact, those who are looking to purchase electronics: topping the list is Fred Meyer, but Academy Sports is second on the list with an average discount of 46 percent followed by Staples at 42 percent.

Looking to help Santa purchase toys to place under the tree? Belk shows an average of 53 percent discount followed by JCPenney at 47 percent.

Stocking up on winter apparel is a good idea during Black Friday. Again, JCPenney and Belk show discounts of 62 and 61 percent respectively.
