Nashville Armory is hosting a safety class for youth between the ages of 10-16, in which they will learn firearm safety, handgun nomenclature, operation and marksmanship fundamentals. The class is called Pistols and Pizza and it takes place on July 17th from 8a-2p.
The class incorporates both instructional and hands-on learning in the classroom, followed by time on the range. Each participant is allowed to shoot a variety of .22 caliber handguns to practice the skills taught in the classroom. Handguns, ammunition, eye and ear protection will be furnished as part of the class. Parents will need to sign a liability waiver for themselves and the student, and are not allowed to attend with the child. Class will include a t-shirt, lunch of pepperoni and cheese pizzas, soft drinks and chips.
