Murfreesboro Police responded to a report of a domestic shooting/stabbing at a home on Crystal Bear Trail at 11:31 Thursday night.
Officers found two individuals with injuries, one shot, one stabbed.
Both transported to hospital. At this time, the shooting victim is listed in critical condition at Vanderbilt Medical Center. The stabbing victim treated for injuries at Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital.
Police believe this is not a random act, the individuals knew each other so, there is no danger to the public.
This is an on-going investigation so, no further information is available at this time.
