The Murfreesboro Police Department is pleased to announce the graduation of Sergeant Clayton
Williams and Sergeant Kyle Evans from the Northwestern University School of Police Staff and
Command.
The School of Police Staff and Command provides upper-level college instruction in a total of
twenty-two core blocks of instruction and nine elective blocks. The major topics of study include:
Management and Management Theory, Organizational Behavior, Human Resources for Law
Enforcement, Budgeting, Staffing Allocation and Personnel Deployment.
The Murfreesboro Police Department congratulates Sergeants Williams and Evans on this accomplishment and anticipates a variety of benefits to the Department and City. Past graduates include Deputy Chief Michael Bowen, Major Eric Cook, Major David Hudgens, Captain Nathan McDaniel, Captain Alan Smith, Captain Cary Gensemer, Lieutenant Steve Teeters, Lieutenant Jimmy Puckett, Lieutenant Garry Carter, Lieutenant Don Fanning, Lieutenant Steve Jarrell, Lieutenant Jeff Keaton, Sergeant Scott Newberg, Sergeant Greg Walker, Sergeant Jeff Baskette, Sergeant Bryan Anderson, and Sergeant Melonie Roche.
