Matt Noe lived a mile away from the fire station as a kid. The sounds of the sirens and seeing the truck head to a scene instilled an interest in him at an early age. “I saw it and always wanted to do it. It has always been a life long dream,” said Noe.

Originally from Little Rock Arkansas Matt made his way to Tennessee. He has been with the La Vergne Fire Department for 4 years and says he is “thankful that La Vergne gave him the opportunity to work in the fire service.” He and his wife Kaitlyn currently reside in Thompson Station. The city of La Vergne would like to thank Firefighter Matt Noe for his service.

Fire Prevention week started October 9th. If you need are in need of a smoke detector, call the Fire Department at 615-793-9115, or stop by one of our fire stations for more info.
