When we first decided to open RutherfordSource.com in Murfreesboro, a must for me was to find a “satellite office” when I needed to get out of the office. I found that at The Boulevard Bar and Grille, located across from the campus at 2154 Middle Tennessee Blvd. It’s clean, plenty of Big Screen TVs for sports , great service, delicious food, and their selection of beer is on point. Stop by our booth at Meet Murfreesboro outside the Student Union Tuesday and Wednesday from 10-2 for a chance to win gift cards from them!

The Menu

This isn’t your normal sports bar. The menu is extensive. Appetizers, calzones, pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, salads, steaks, tacos, burritos and more it’s hard to not find something on the menu for everyone. I have tried many items on the menu..and I do mean many and here are my top picks:

Appetizers:

• Edame
  Steamed to order, tossed gently with Kosher salt
• Wings
  Your choice of sauces: Mild • Medium • Buffalo • Killer Hot • Smokey BBQ • Sweet Honey Mustard • Tangy Asian • Spicy Cajun (dry rub) • Caribbean Jerk • Garlic Parmesan (dry rub)(Big fan of the Cajun Dry Rub)

Burgers: (I have two go to’s )

• Memphis Burger
  Cheddar cheese and pulled pork, topped with cole slaw
• The Boulevard
  Our natural beef patty piled high with fries, tomato and onions, smothered in queso
  Double the meat or  Triple the meat  upon request..no I only have done the single..But, the Triple is a work of art.

Sandwiches/Wraps

• Keach’s French Dip
  Shaved prime rib, provolone cheese & au jus, served on a hoagie sub (I add horseradish sauce)
• Avocado Club Wrap
  Grilled chicken, bacon, avocado, tomato, swiss cheese & pesto mayo

South of The Border

• Spicy Shrimp Tacos
  Lettuce, tomato, cheese and grilled shrimp served with three soft shell tacos, spicy ranch, tortilla chips, salsa & sour cream
• Burrito California
  Grilled chicken OR steak, bacon, cheese, tomato, red & green peppers and onions, served with a side of garlic rice.

Pizza

• Great White
  Olive oil, garlic, fontina cheese & fresh basil (I add steak to this….don’t judge)

Salads (Yes I have tried the salads, despite previous posts)

• Chicken Cobb Salad
  Grilled chicken, mixed greens, egg, bacon, crumbled bleu cheese, avocado &tomatoes
• Taco Salad
  Blackened chicken, lettuce, avocado, & pico de gallo, served in a crispy flour tortilla with spicy ranch & sour cream

LIBATIONS
29 beers on tap feature many locals and rotating Beers of the Month, over 49 more in bottles. A premium wine selection can be paired with any item on the menu/ One of the keys to a good libation is a good bartender, and these girls behind the bar are amazing! Personable and experienced, they treat customers well and make your trip worth the while. And the specials…well the specials are very..special.
