Food Network’s “Best Pizza in America”

The Louisville original, Boombozz Craft Pizza & Tap House, has been the recipient of numerous awards ever since its incarnation in 1998. Winning titles such as the American Pizza Championship, (twice) World Pizza Championship and being named 16th out of 100 in Fast Casual’s “Top Movers & Shakers” in America, among many others awards. Recognitions that are reason enough to excite any ‘Boro resident.

The name “Boombozz” comes from Italian slang and means wild, crazy, and fun. Tony (Boombozz’s founder) puts these ideas at the front of everything he does. The result is the totally unique flavor of a Boombozz pizza, and the fun atmosphere of a Boombozz Taphouse restaurant.

When Tony Palombino opened Boombozz Craft Pizza & Tap House he knew the level of competition he’d be up against taking on the pizza world. But Tony had a game plan to use the freshest premium ingredients to create craft pizzas that would stand out among bland fast food pizza options like cheese and pepperoni.
